GLASGOW'S GENTLEST son, Donovan, breezed into the Plaza Nine Room at New York's famous Plaza Hotel for a press conference. Wearing lavender trousers, a blue shirt and a red vinyl jacket, Donovan answered questions from a variety of underground bearded types who seemed to think he was the Messiah.
