A Bad Year for Elvis Presley

THOUGH ELVIS Presley died in 1977, he made more headlines in 1981 than any living rock star. The initial tremors were felt on July 31st, when attorney Blanchard Tual, representing Presley's thirteen-year-old daughter, Lisa Marie, filed a report alleging that Elvis had been blatantly cheated by Colonel Tom Parker, his manager since 1956.
