PAT BENATAR is a singer who has put herself in the unusual position of trying to unlearn almost everything she knows about her vocation. On the evidence of a few songs she performed a few weeks ago at Catch a Rising Star, she is doing a pretty good job of it. And tonight and tomorrow night (and next Wednesday through Saturday), the former Lindenhurst native performs in her first major New York club booking at Tramps (125 E. 15th St.).
