Papa Roach: Astoria, WC2
Lisa Verrico, The Times, 2 February 2001
IT WAS easy to spot the Papa Roach fans striding through Soho. They travelled in packs — mainly males, but with the odd tomboy babe — all sporting the same hip-hung, baggy jeans, back-to-front baseball caps and short-sleeved, XL size, slogan T-shirts. They spread out across pavements, swung their arms by their sides and didn’t seem to notice that the temperature had dropped to near zero. Papa Roach were in town — it was time to act tough.
