IT'S A beautiful world, where Chris and Cosey can inhabit the same record store as, say, Slim Whitman. Frigid and anti-human, and at the same time seductive and interesting, Chris and Cosey doodle around with a lot of synthesizers. But even when it ends in disaster, their work is never merely cerebral or experimental; they aren't gizmo freaks. They may even have real feelings.
